Road authorities in Mid Ulster have announced closures on multiple routes for utility installations and maintenance. Works begin this week on several sites.

On A29 Cookstown Road in Dunman, a lane closes from 120m north of house number 75 to opposite house number 80. Fibrus conducts testing, rodding, roping and possible minor excavation. The closure runs daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday April 13 to Wednesday April 15. Traffic control operates with expected delays.

A0029 Dungannon Road in Cookstown closes one way from Annagh Road to Loughry Roundabout. Northstone installs a footpath. The closure lasts until Friday May 1. Traffic control manages flow with delays anticipated.

A29 Oldtown Street in Cookstown sees hard shoulder closure from Fairhill Road junction to Orritor Retail Park junction. Evolve installs new gas mains. Work occurs nightly from 7pm to 6am, Wednesday April 1 2026 to Sunday May 10.

On A54 Oldtown Road in Bellaghy, a lane closes from 30m north of Ballydermot Lane to 30m south of it. NI Water Operations replaces a valve. Daily work from 9.30am to 4.30pm runs Monday April 13 to Friday April 17. Traffic control expects delays.

B35 Legilly Road in Dungannon has a lane closure from 130m south of number 10 to 100m south of it. BT Openreach performs pole works. The closure operates 9.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesday April 15. Traffic control applies with delays.

A4 Dual Carriageway in Dungannon closes a lane from the westbound start to Ballygawley Roundabout. Amey Transport Infrastructure handles routine maintenance including grass cutting, weed spraying and sweeping. Overnight work from 11pm to 6am continues to Monday May 11. Delays expected under traffic control.

A0005 Omagh Road in Dungannon fully closes from Errigal Road to Annaghilla Road. RSC Group installs cat's eyes. Nightly closure from 10pm to 6am runs Monday April 13 to Friday April 17. A diversion operates with expected delays.
