Darren Dixon, 29, from Carleton Court in Derry, admitted breaching his alcohol bail condition at Derry court.

Police detained Dixon and asked him to use a breathalyser. A police officer stated that Dixon spat into the machine instead of blowing into it. The officer noted Dixon showed clear signs of intoxication.

The court re-released Dixon on bail. He will appear again on March 11.
