A single-vehicle collision occurred on Queens Road in the Parkhall area of Antrim town on Thursday. A black Citroën car struck the front doors of a Spar shop. The incident took place just before midday.

Police and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene. Officers from the PSNI assisted fire service personnel at the location.

One appliance from Antrim Fire Station responded to the call. Firefighters found the vehicle's occupants already out of the car upon arrival. They secured the vehicle and handed the scene to police before departing at 12.18pm.
