Woman Treated in Hospital After Armed Break-In at Bushmills House
Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in the Mount Pleasant area of Bushmills. The incident occurred on Monday 2 March around 9.30pm.
A group of masked men forced entry into the property. One man inside managed to go upstairs without injury while the intruders searched that part of the house. A woman present was hit with a bat and fled to the garden. She received hospital treatment for injuries described as not serious.
The suspects left the scene on foot. Police aim to identify those involved and establish a motive.
