Tetra Tech, working for the Department for Infrastructure, has scheduled a public engagement event at Magilligan Community Centre. The session will take place from 2pm to 7pm on March 11.

The event focuses on a proposed greenway route from Bellarena to Bishop’s Gate near Mussenden Temple. Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins named this project among six signature schemes.

The greenway will provide routes for walking, wheeling and cycling. It targets recreation and leisure activities while connecting to local attractions and amenities. Organisers expect it to boost tourism and local businesses.

Input from stakeholders, businesses and communities will shape the early design phase. A dedicated project website will offer further details from March 11 to April 11.
