Belfast-based law firm Tughans advised Woodside Tankfreight on its acquisition of Montgomery Tank Services. The deal expands Woodside Tankfreight's bulk tanker transport operations across the UK and Ireland.

Woodside Tankfreight is part of the Woodside Group. Montgomery Tank Services is a long-established bulk tanker transport operator serving customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

Tughans partner John McGuckian led the advisory team, supported by Brendan Donnelly and Patricia Rooney. The firm provided corporate and transactional advice throughout the acquisition process.

McGuckian said the transaction represents an important step in Woodside Tankfreight's continued growth and demonstrates the ongoing strength of the transport and logistics sector across the UK and Ireland.
