Man sentenced for damaging pub window in Derry
Andrew Harris, 33, of Morven Park in Dundonald, has been sentenced for criminal damage to a window at a bar on Waterloo Street in Derry.
Police were called to the premises on December 23, 2023, after staff detained a man who had punched the window. Harris later admitted one charge of criminal damage.
The cost of repairing the window was £156. Defence counsel Brendan Kearney said the case was delayed because Harris had moved to the Republic of Ireland shortly after the incident and had only recently returned.
Harris was given a two-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £156 in compensation.
