Seven-year-old cyclist critically injured in Coleraine collision
A seven-year-old boy is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after a collision with a car while riding his bicycle in Coleraine on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at around 6.40pm on 13 September on Warnocks Lane, involving a black Volkswagen Scirocco.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene. The boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
Warnocks Lane was closed in both directions for a time but has since fully reopened.
Inspector Roxborough said officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and have appealed for anyone with dash-cam footage or other information to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1271 of 13/09/26.
