Thousands are expected to attend the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle, which runs from 22 to 25 August. The four-day event is organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and includes live entertainment, family activities, and traditional trading.

On Saturday 22 August, the programme features a Heavy Horse Show and parade, a Vintage Vehicle Display, street theatre, and live music along the seafront. A fireworks display is scheduled for 9:30pm over Ballycastle.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins, said the fair is a much-loved part of Ballycastle's identity and a summer highlight for residents and visitors. She added that the event combines centuries-old traditions, local traders, entertainment, and family activities, and she welcomed everyone to attend.

On Sunday 23 August, the Seafront Music Stage will host performances by Eoghan Quigg and Chloe Mac. Later, live bands Dusty Windowsills and All Folk'd Up will perform at The Diamond.

Traditional trading will take centre stage on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 August, with hundreds of traders lining the streets. Fairhill Street will continue the historic horse-trading tradition. Visitors can also see horseshoe demonstrations, live music, busking stations, and a mobile animal farm.

Throughout all four days, the Naturally North Coast & Glens Market will offer artisan crafts and local produce. A Street Food Village and Family Fun Zone will stay open late each evening.

Local favourites Yellow Man and dulse will be available at the fair.
