Derrylin tractor pull to raise funds for parish hall and cancer charity
A charity tractor pull will be held in Derrylin on Saturday 8 August, featuring an afternoon of rural entertainment and a family fun event.
The main attraction will be the tractor pull, which takes place on the grounds of Derrylin Parish Hall. Afterwards, a programme of supporting activities will include catering, ice cream and children’s entertainment.
Proceeds from the day will be split between Derrylin Parish Hall and Friends of the Cancer Centre. The cancer charity has worked for almost 40 years to improve cancer care across Northern Ireland, including through services at the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital.
Organisers describe the event as a celebration of power, community and tradition, and are encouraging families from Derrylin and the surrounding areas to attend.
