The Police Property Fund Small Grants Scheme has opened for its fourth round of applications. Community-based organisations across Northern Ireland are invited to apply for funding to support local projects.

The scheme has already distributed almost £650,000 through previous funding rounds. Three small grants calls awarded close to £500,000, and a large grants call awarded a further £150,000.

Brendan Mullan, Chair of the Policing Board, said the programme has had a real impact in communities over the past five years. He noted that the funding aims to strengthen relationships between communities, police services, and local Policing and Community Safety Partnerships.

Mullan added that building better communities is a shared responsibility and urged any organisation with a suitable project to submit an application before the deadline. Further information is available by contacting the Board's Communications office.
