Fermanagh singer-songwriter Jake Carter has released a new single while maintaining a packed schedule that includes a leading role in a touring production celebrating the music of The Beatles.

The track, titled ‘All That I Need Is You’, was issued through Sharpe Music on 17 July. Carter explained that the song reflects the idea that no matter where life takes someone, there is one person who makes everywhere else seem less important. He aimed for an uplifting and honest feel, the kind of song that invites singing along.

The release adds to a growing catalogue of original material from the 27-year-old, whose recent work includes tracks such as ‘Paper Planes’, ‘Milk and Honey’, ‘Who We Are’ and ‘I Just Gotta Take You Home’.

Carter is also one of the lead performers in ‘Let It Be: The Music of The Beatles’, a concert production scheduled to tour Ireland later this year and featuring classic songs including ‘She Loves You’, ‘Help!’, ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Let It Be’. Organisers noted that his upbringing in Liverpool, the birthplace of The Beatles, gives him a natural connection to the material.

Beyond his own music and the tribute show, Carter continues to work as tour manager for his older brother, country music performer Nathan Carter.
