A replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon will open to the public at Coleraine Harbour from July 15 to July 19.

The Galeón Andalucía will be moored at Riversdale Quay, with entry via the main gate at the Rose Gardens. Online advance tickets cost £12 for adults, £6 for children aged five to 10, and £30 for a family ticket covering two adults and up to three children under 11. Booking is available at tickets.velacuadra.es, with organisers offering a discount compared to on-arrival purchase.

The vessel was built between 2009 and 2010 by the Nao Victoria Foundation in Spain. Since its launch it has covered more than 48,000 nautical miles and called at ports across four continents.

The ship is a travelling museum focusing on the maritime history of the Indies fleets and their global trade routes.
