Nominations have opened for the Mid Ulster Business Excellence Awards 2026, an event celebrating achievement across the region’s business community.

Organised by the Mid Ulster Mail, the awards will culminate in a black-tie dinner at The Royal Hotel in Cookstown on Thursday, 19 November.

There are 14 categories covering multiple sectors, including a people’s choice award for Best Restaurant that will be decided by public vote.

Headline sponsor Henry Brothers is marking its 50th anniversary this year. A company spokesperson said the sponsorship reflects a commitment to the area and a desire to champion local growth and opportunity.

Other category sponsors include P McVey, South West College, McNicholl Caravans, H&A Group, Specialist Joinery (Specialist Group), Mid Ulster District Council and Bank of Ireland.
