Fermanagh Businesses Claim 18 Wins at Ulster Irish Restaurant Awards
Eighteen businesses from Fermanagh won awards at the Ulster regional stage of the Irish Restaurant Awards. The ceremony occurred at the Armagh City Hotel on Tuesday night.
Fermanagh winners included The Linnet Inn for pub of the year. Joe Kelly of Joe The Baker received the local food hero award.
28 At The Hollow took the innovator of the year award. Glen Wheeler from that venue earned best chef recognition. Tully Mill Restaurant secured the best restaurant and best sustainable practices awards.
The Toastery won best café. Franco’s Restaurant claimed best customer service and best casual dining. Lough Erne Resort received best wine experience and best hotel and guesthouse restaurant.
Emilia’s Pizza picked up best newcomer. The Street Kitchen won best contemporary Irish and its Rebecca Ford received the employee excellence award.
Dollakis took best world cuisine. Charlie’s Bar earned best use of social media. Irvine’s Steakhouse & Bar received best gastro pub. Margaret Elliot-Tredinnick from The Dog and Duck Inn won best restaurant manager.
The awards form part of the Irish Restaurant Awards that cover every county.
