Man arrested after scissors threat at Belfast transport hub
Police arrested a 29-year-old man at Belfast’s Grand Central Station on Tuesday, 30 June, after a report that a male armed with scissors threatened a member of staff.
The incident took place around 1pm. Officers attended, detained the man at the scene, and he was arrested on suspicion of possession of a blade or pointed article in a public place and common assault.
He remains in police custody. Detectives at Musgrave are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who may have captured footage from the area, to come forward.
