Woman hospitalised after electric scrambler collision in west Belfast
A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital after being hit by an electric scrambler at a junction in west Belfast.
The collision occurred at the Falls Road’s junction with Donegall Road at around 4.20pm on Wednesday, June 24.
Police said a blue and black electric scrambler is believed to have struck the woman. She was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries, the nature of which have not been disclosed.
A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Inspector Saggers said investigations are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dash-cam or other footage to come forward.
