Police in Northern Ireland are investigating an assault reported in the Ravenhill Road area of east Belfast. The incident occurred at around 11.40pm on Thursday, April 9.

A man lay on the ground when another male punched him in the face and assaulted him. The victim received facial injuries and went to hospital for treatment.

Detective Sergeant Stevenson stated that enquiries continue. Officers want to hear from anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area.
