A new café operated by Dunnes Stores has opened on Level 3 of the Foyleside shopping centre in Derry, creating 30 jobs with further positions expected as the offering develops.

The space, which has undergone extensive renovation, features a wall of glass running the length of the café, offering views across the River Foyle and the city. The interior includes timber-clad ceiling installations with hanging greenery, leather seating, and dark steel framework.

Centre manager Paul Doherty described the café as a significant addition for the centre and the city, praising the quality of the finish, the ambience, and the value for money on the food menu.

According to Foyleside, the all-day offering includes a full breakfast from £6.95, a traditional roast of the day at £7.45, plus freshly made soups, sandwiches, wraps, coffees, and a range of cakes and bakes. Children's meals start at £2.

The café opens Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

Alongside the café, Dunnes Stores has also unveiled a new ladieswear floor stocking brands including the Power Cut label, newly available at Foyleside.

Doherty commended Dunnes Stores for its investment in the space, staff, and product, saying the project reflects the retailer's commitment to Derry and to Foyleside as a destination.
