Man Extradited from Scotland to Face Fraud and Burglary Charges in Belfast
A 45-year-old man has been extradited from Scotland to Northern Ireland to answer charges of fraud and burglary.
The man was arrested by Police Scotland in recent days and subsequently transferred to the custody of the Police Service of Northern Ireland. He appeared before Laganside Magistrates' Court in Belfast on a number of outstanding warrants.
Detective Sergeant McKernan said the arrest demonstrated the PSNI's commitment to pursuing suspects who attempt to evade justice. The force would continue to target those who leave Northern Ireland to escape the consequences of their actions, he added.
