Louis MacNeice celebration event at Antrim Library
An event exploring the life and work of poet Louis MacNeice will take place at Antrim Library on Tuesday 30 June at 6:30pm.
Broadcaster William Crawley and literary historian Patricia Craig will lead a discussion following a screening of Glenn Patterson's documentary about MacNeice. The film traces MacNeice from his childhood in Carrickfergus through his literary career, using archive footage and interviews.
The discussion will consider MacNeice's legacy and the relevance of his work. A BBC exhibition on MacNeice is also on display at the library during normal hours.
