Irish speakers in County Fermanagh gather once a month for informal conversation sessions aimed at supporting the use of the language. The ciorcal comhrá takes place on the first Saturday of each month at the Ground Café, located above the Next Superstore in the Erneside complex, Enniskillen.

Organised by Chloe Gallagher, the group encourages participants to communicate only in Irish throughout the 90-minute session. No textbooks or formal lessons are involved, with the focus placed on learning through everyday chat.

Tea and coffee are provided, helping to create a relaxed social environment. Topics range across common interests and daily life.

Regular attendee Jim Ledwith has highlighted the importance of the informal setting. He described such learning as the living soul of the language, adding that conversation keeps Irish alive and allows new words to enter use naturally as society evolves.
