Northern Regional College has received a Level 2 Take 5 College Award at the recent NHSCT Take 5 Schools Awards. The honour acknowledges the college's work to foster positive mental health across its community.

The Take 5 initiative encourages simple daily actions to improve wellbeing: connect, be active, take notice, keep learning, and give. The award programme, run by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, recognises educational institutions that embed these steps in their culture.

College representatives said the award reflects an ongoing dedication to student support and creating an environment where mental health is prioritised.
