Police appeal after Lisburn home ransacked and jewellery stolen
Detectives in Lisburn are investigating a burglary at a house in the Woodland Avenue area.
The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime between 1pm on Saturday 6 June and 11.30am on Sunday 7 June. The property was unoccupied at the time, and entry is believed to have been gained by forcing open a rear window.
Rooms inside were ransacked and a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
Detective Inspector Lewis said the force is appealing to anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the vicinity to come forward. Officers also want local residents to check any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage they may have.
