Killyleagh YC Re-Signs Striker Jack Sharvin
Jack Sharvin has rejoined Killyleagh YC after spending four seasons at Drumaness Mills. The 26-year-old striker scored 106 goals in 138 appearances for the Premier Division side and represented the Amateur League select team.
Killyleagh currently play in Division 1B after suffering relegations in successive seasons. Manager Stephen Lindsay described Sharvin as the best player in the Amateur League and said his arrival shows the club's ambition for the season ahead.
Sharvin previously led the line for Killyleagh when the club won promotion to the Premier Division, playing alongside brothers Jonathan and Jamie under father Paul's management. A club statement highlighted his experience and goalscoring record, stating he can help drive the team forward.
Lindsay said the player bought into the project immediately after discussions. The signing is Killyleagh's first of the summer as they target a return to Division 1A.
