BALLYMENA: A 41-year-old man recently released from prison after smashing a police vehicle window during disorder in the town appeared in court charged with assaulting a woman, threatening to damage her windows, and attempting to damage a window. The case was adjourned by District Judge Nigel Broderick.

COLERAINE: A woman detected drink driving in the Coleraine area on the weekend of the North West 200 had a breath alcohol reading of 64 against a legal limit of 35, after telling the court she had waited an hour for a taxi before making a decision to drive a short journey. The outcome of the case was not reported.

COLERAINE: A 55-year-old woman accused of stealing more than £30,000 in parental contributions from Kylemore Nursery School, along with fraud by abuse of position and false accounting between 2011 and 2018, had her case sent to Antrim Crown Court for arraignment on 29 June. She was granted continuing bail of £500.

CRAIGAVON: A 32-year-old Portadown man charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a girl and sexual communication with a child, alleged to have occurred in April 2024, was returned for trial at Craigavon Crown Court where he is due to be arraigned on 30 June. Bail was set at £300.
