The Department for Infrastructure has published its Driver, Vehicle, Operator, and Enforcement Statistics report covering January to March 2026.

The report was produced by NISRA statisticians working within the Driver and Vehicle Agency.

During the 2025/26 financial year, DVA compliance and enforcement teams conducted 1,573 roadside checks across Northern Ireland.

Officers issued 853 fixed penalty notices with a total value of £124,200.

Enforcement activity resulted in 110 convictions.

DVA teams also took part in 97 joint operations with the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
