Bangor Ladies will host Ballymena United Women in the quarter-finals of the NIWFA Championship Cup on 1 May.

The match marks Bangor Ladies' first knockout fixture of the season. The team sits third in the NIWFA Championship after five wins from seven matches.

Bangor defeated Ballymena United Women 1-0 in the league on 8 April at the Showgrounds, with Amber Dempster scoring the only goal.

Ballymena United Women have drawn five of their last eight league matches and have conceded ten goals during that period.

Bangor Ladies reached the round of 16 in the Irish FA Women's Challenge Cup in 2025 and the quarter-finals in 2024.

The club has drawn Strabane Athletic Ladies in the first round of this year's Irish FA Women's Challenge Cup. Bangor beat Strabane Athletic Ladies 4-0 in the league in March.
