Police are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Culmore Park, Omagh.

The incident occurred shortly before 2am on Thursday 28 May when three men forced entry by smashing a window in the rear door.

The 28-year-old male occupant was beaten with metal bars and his mobile phone was stolen.

He sustained a head wound and other injuries but is recovering after treatment.

One suspect wore a grey Adidas hoody, black baseball cap and jeans. A second wore a black jacket, baseball cap and jeans. The third wore jeans and a baseball cap. All three wore face coverings.

Detectives from Omagh CID are appealing for information and any relevant footage.
