Belfast Parkinson’s aquacise group to feature in BBC One series
A group of people with Parkinson’s in Belfast will appear in a BBC One series.
The programme follows former EastEnders actor Natalie Cassidy as she trains as a carer.
Filming took place during an aquacise class at Templemore Baths on Templemore Avenue.
William Stafford, who lives with Parkinson’s and sits on the board of the Templemore Users Trust, started the weekly sessions with funding from Parkinson’s UK Northern Ireland.
The class runs every Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm.
Sessions cost £3, with the first class free.
The episode airs on BBC One at 2pm on Thursday 28 May and is already available on iPlayer.
