Ballymartin recorded their sixth win in seven games with a 5-13 to 0-10 victory over Aughlisnafin on Monday night.

Joint manager Tony Bagnall said the team had worked on applying pressure around the arc and attacking at pace after turnovers.

Ballymartin beat Dundrum 3-14 to 2-4 last Thursday. Bagnall described that result as the team's best performance of the year.

The players set promotion as their target for the season. Bagnall said the standard in the division has been high and promotion will not be easy.

Ballymartin sit third in the table on 12 points, two points behind joint leaders Drumaness and Ardglass.

Last season Ballymartin finished ninth in Division Three and were relegated.

Bagnall and Aidan Carr are in their first season managing the side.
