A Dunmurry man appeared before Antrim Magistrates Court sitting in Ballymena on Tuesday.

Patrick Burns of Glenbawn Avenue is charged with assault and criminal damage.

The alleged offences took place on March 14 this year.

The court adjourned the case to June 15 for a contest.

Burns' age was listed as unknown on court documents.
