Finance Minister John O'Dowd has allocated £102.6 million for six projects under the Transformation Fund.

The funding covers electronic prescription systems, family support services, employment pathways, civil service digital records, bovine tuberculosis research and data linkage projects.

£42 million will support the ePharmacy Primary Care Digital Reform Programme.

£29.2 million will establish a region-wide early help model for families in partnership with the National Lottery Community Fund, which is adding £30 million.

£16 million will integrate employability and health services through the Department for Communities.

The remaining allocations are £6 million for the Department of Finance's Digital Workplace programme, £4 million for a bovine tuberculosis pilot by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, and £5.3 million for NISRA data linkage projects.

The Shared Island Fund is contributing £5.6 million to the bovine tuberculosis project.

This follows £129 million allocated last year for six earlier projects in healthcare, special educational needs, justice and infrastructure.
