Two siblings from Ballymena secured three European titles at the WKO European Championships held in Barnsley.

Lacey Stewart, aged 12 and a pupil at Dunclug College, won the WKO European K1 Novice Championship. She defeated the reigning WKO English Champion by unanimous decision.

Kain Stewart, aged 10 and a pupil at Ballykeel Primary School, won two WKO European Boxing titles. He defeated a multi-time world champion in the final by unanimous decision.

Both siblings represented Cuchulainn Combat Sports and competed under coach Alan Philpott.

The event took place over a weekend, with Lacey competing first and Kain completing his boxing bouts on Sunday following a K1 loss on Saturday.

The Stewart family returned to Ballymena with the championship belts.
