PSNI seize two uninsured vehicles in Omagh speed check
Police seized two vehicles and issued fixed penalty notices during a speed enforcement operation on the Gortin Road in Omagh.
Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland Road Policing Interceptors team conducted the operation after local concerns about speeding.
During the checks, officers stopped several motorists and provided road safety advice.
Two drivers were stopped minutes apart and found to be uninsured. Both received six penalty points and a £205 fine, along with liability for vehicle recovery and storage costs.
Police urged all drivers to ensure their vehicles are insured and road legal.
