The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service has submitted plans to extend and refurbish Dromore Fire Station.

The proposals include expanding the appliance bay and adding a separate area for kit changes.

Refurbishment of the existing building is also planned to improve emergency response times.

The work would provide dedicated welfare and shower facilities.

A gym and a new roof are included in the application.

Access to the station will remain unchanged and no increase in usage is planned.

No additional parking will be required as a result of the development.
