BANGOR: A 19-year-old motorist who almost caused a head-on collision with a police vehicle after driving over the alcohol limit admitted a charge of driving whilst unfit on April 18. The defendant, who had attended a pub for his brother's 18th birthday, had a breath alcohol reading of 60 against a legal limit of 35 and drove after his planned lift home did not materialise.
