A 25-year-old man from Co Derry died after a single-vehicle crash in Co Donegal.

Ashlea Harkin passed away in hospital following the incident on the R238 at Ardmore in Muff.

The crash occurred at around 9.45pm on Saturday, May 17.

Harkin was from 19 Mount Vernon, Culmore, Derry.

Tributes described him as the son of Breda and Dave, brother of Dáithí, and boyfriend of Corrie-Lee.

Family flowers only are requested, with donations suggested for Foyle Search and Rescue or the Northlands Centre.

Funeral arrangements will be confirmed on Tuesday.
