The Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland has launched an investigation into an incident involving a police vehicle in Cookstown.

The incident took place around 1:45pm on 5 May near the junction of Killymoon Street and Killymoon Road.

Investigators are seeking witnesses who saw what occurred.

Anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage of the event is also asked to come forward.
