Police in Omagh requested witnesses after a man suffered a blow to the neck in the Old Mountfield Road area. The assault took place at about 8pm on Saturday, May 9.

An unknown male struck the victim. Officers went to the location and interviewed the injured party. The investigation continues.

Authorities asked people present in the vicinity or with details to contact them. They seek dash-cam, CCTV or other recordings from the time.
