The family-run Coast restaurant in Holywood, Northern Ireland, closed permanently on May 12. It had operated for four years since opening in 2020.

Owners cited rising operating costs and financial pressures as the reasons for closure. A letter on the door stated that increasing costs made continued business unviable. The owners expressed thanks to customers for their loyalty and to staff for their contributions.

Coast held the top ranking for dining spots in Holywood on TripAdvisor. The venue featured a licensed front pavement cafe and a rear garden seating over 30 people. Both areas offered outdoor dining with patio heaters available.

Visitors noted the quality of food, large portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service at the bistro-style restaurant.
