Dungannon Motorist Disqualified for Driving Without Insurance
Police in Dungannon stopped a car during a mobile patrol on January 23 and asked the driver to produce his licence.
Rui Pinto, 36, of Booke Street in Dungannon, showed an East Timor driving licence that did not permit him to drive in the UK.
Checks confirmed he held a provisional UK licence but had not obtained a full licence.
Pinto did not appear in court and had no legal representation.
The court disqualified him from driving for six months due to lack of insurance.
He also received a £250 fine for that offence.
Additional fines totalled £200 plus a £15 offender's levy for driving without supervision from a qualified driver and failing to display L plates on January 23.
