The Ulster Farmers' Union and the College of Agriculture Food and Rural Enterprise will hold a beef conference at Greenmount Campus on Wednesday, June 10. The event focuses on profitability and sustainability.

A technical session runs in the morning. This is followed by a visit to the CAFRE Beef and Sheep Centre. Speakers include a representative from a leading multinational supermarket and two local farmers. The farmers will present virtual tours of their operations.

The conference starts at 9:30am and ends at 5:00pm. Attendance costs £25. Bookings are available online.

Free on-farm visits take place in the evening. Groups depart at 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm and 7:30pm.
