Lewis Kelly, an 18-year-old student at Carndonagh Community School, died in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. He passed away surrounded by family.

His funeral is scheduled for Saturday with a Requiem Mass at 2pm in St Patrick's Church, Aughaclay. Burial will follow in Lagg graveyard. The service can be viewed live on Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director's Facebook page.

Family requested family flowers only. Donations in lieu go to Richmond ICU at Beaumont Hospital via any family member or Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director.

Culdaff, Malin, Glengad, and Gleneely communities set up a GoFundMe page to assist the Kelly family. The page supports Hugh and Michelle Kelly along with sons Quinn and Regan, and daughter Zevagh.

Funds cover funeral costs and daily expenses during this period. By Thursday evening, over 600 donations raised more than €37,000 in 20 hours.
