SONI, the electricity Transmission System Operator for Northern Ireland, published a mid-year performance review report for its 2025/2026 Forward Work Plan.

The Utility Regulator introduced the Evaluative Performance Framework for SONI's 2020-2027 price control. This framework evaluates SONI's performance each financial year.

SONI's review follows the release of its Forward Work Plan for 2025/2026.

SONI will publish its Annual Performance Report for 2025/2026 in January 2027.

After the annual report appears, the EPF Panel will conduct an assessment to conclude the cycle for the EPF year.
