Jamie-Lee O'Donnell will appear on ITV1's Celebrity Catchphrase this Saturday at 5.45pm to support Foyle Foodbank in Derry.

The actor, known for her role in Derry Girls, joins host Stephen Mulhern to compete against Frankie Bridge and Harry Pinero. The winner can claim £50,000 for Foyle Network Foundation, which runs the foodbank.

Karen Mullan, director of Foyle Network Foundation, stated the charity values O'Donnell's choice to back them. She noted O'Donnell serves as an ambassador for Derry and local communities. Mullan said the support draws attention to difficulties faced by families.

Foyle Foodbank rebranded under Foyle Network Foundation in March 2024. The change reflects its work beyond food provision to wider aid for families and individuals.

Mullan highlighted ongoing donations and appeals from Derry residents. She described locals as generous in offering food, funds, or awareness to assist those in need.
