Colebrooke Park in Fermanagh Hosts Flower Festival for Charities
Colebrooke Park in Fermanagh will open to the public for a flower festival from Friday, May 15, at 5pm to 8pm, Saturday, May 16, from 11am to 6pm, and Sunday, May 17, from 12noon to 6pm.
Visitors will access the interior of the house, gardens, walled garden, and church. Teas and facilities will be available at the church hall.
All proceeds will go to Lower Erne Community First Responders, Colebrooke Parish Church, and a mental welfare charity that uses the estate's gardens for horticultural therapy.
Timothy Elliot of The Manor Garden Centre in Lisnaskea designed the flower arrangements.
The estate spans over 1,500 acres of parkland, ancient woodlands, and the Colebrooke River. The walled garden dates to the early 1900s and includes restored orchards of heritage apple trees, fruit, and vegetables.
Flower beds surround the house, and a sunken garden features a pond.
