Lisburn Man Fined for Cannabis Possession After Police Visit
Colin Samuel McMullan, 43, of Titterington Gardens in Lisburn, appeared before Lisburn magistrates court on a charge of possessing cannabis, a Class B drug.
Police visited an address in Drumbo on January 29, 2026. Officers entered after being invited and detected the smell of cannabis. McMullan produced a rolled joint.
McMullan admitted to police that he smoked cannabis for personal use.
His defence lawyer stated police responded to a nuisance call due to a neighbour dispute. The lawyer noted McMullan cooperated fully and possessed half a joint. The lawyer added McMullan has mental health issues.
District Judge Rosie Watters fined McMullan £150 plus a £15 offender levy.
