Raffrey Girls’ Brigade company in Newtownards held an anniversary display on Friday, March 20, to mark 70 years of operation.

Current and former officers attended the event. Members received awards including Brigader Brooches and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Mrs Latifa McCullagh served as guest of honour. She previously held the role of GB NI President and Captain of 12th NI Magheragall Presbyterian Company.

Rev Brian Small acted as chairman for the display.

All sections of the company participated with performances of PE, marching, a musical journey, and singing.

Past officers formed a choir and joined in the display.
