Girls' Brigade Northern Ireland held an event in County Tyrone to present the Queen's Award to recipients who completed the programme in 2026.

The award is the highest accolade within the organisation and follows standards set at international level.

Recipients completed six requirements over two years: community service, contribution to their local Girls' Brigade company, an in-depth project, two initiative tests, a two-hour written study paper and interview, and continued involvement in their church.

Family members, friends, Girls' Brigade leaders and invited guests attended the event.
